It’s no secret that kids these days have adults beat when it comes to the latest trends. So when our fashion editors decided to round up stylish pink finds in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, they tapped the young stylists from Reach the Runway, HONOLULU Fashion Week’s nonprofit program which mentors middle-school students interested in fashion, for a little help. Read on for their must-have picks and chic-beyond-their-years styling tips.

1) SLEEVELESS SHIRTDRESS
$54, 33 Butterflies, 380-8585.

“I love the tribal pattern and contrasting colors of this dress. You could wear it as is or throw it over black leggings, maybe even with a purple hat.”—Camille

2) FAUX LEATHER CAP
$18, Adore, 737-0608.

“I like that this is a sporty style, but in a pretty color. It’s simple, so you can match it with a lot—I’d pair it with jeans and a loose T-shirt.”—Selah

3) PERFORATED CLUTCH
$56, Adore, 737-0608.

“This bag is super versatile—you can carry it as a clutch or attach the chain that comes with it and rock it as a shoulder bag. It would be a nice pop of color with a simple black dress.”—Camille

4) DROP EARRINGS
$9.99, Claire’s, 738-0104.

“The metallic finish on these earrings gives them a cool rose-gold look that will show up even if you have your hair down. They would go well with a dress with a high neckline.”—Mele

5) FAUX-JEWEL NECKLACE
$19.50, Claire’s, 738-0104.

“This is a cute statement piece—perfect for a homecoming dance or wedding.”—Selah

6)  PEBBLED WALLET
$22, Adore, 737-0608.

“This wallet can double as a clutch with dressier outfits—it can even fit your phone inside. The black interior gives it some edge, and the textured fabric reminds me of snakeskin.”—Mele

7) VON ZIPPER LULA SUNGLASSES
$110, T&C Surf Designs, 733-5699.

“I like that these glasses are both beachy and glam. The round design is really fun.”—Selah

8)  EMMA TANK
$62, Cinnamon Girl, 737-9425.

“The cut of this tank’s neckline is really flattering, and I love the all-over print. They make kid’s dresses in the same pattern, so it would be great for a family to wear together.”—Selah
